When will I be charged for the house cleaning service?

Your credit card on file will be charged after the residential house cleaning is complete and you have had a chance to review our work. Typically, you will see this come through within 3-5 business days after your scheduled cleaning. After booking your appointment, but before any cleaning service is performed, you may also see a temporary hold on your credit card to verify its authenticity. This is not a charge and will be removed once the service has been completed.

Are there any commitments or contracts?

None whatsoever. Sometimes you just need a little help tidying up before guests come over, while other times you may want some ongoing help keeping things clean. We’re here to help you keep your house feeling like a home, whatever your needs are.

Do I get a discount if I am a frequent customer?

You bet! To reward our best clients, we have implemented the SUMMIT CLUB! This is a special tiered program that all recurring service clients will automatically be enrolled in after six months of regular cleanings. The Summit Club rewards our best clients with a surprise welcome package, free cleanings, priority scheduling, and special perks. To learn more, head over to the Summit Club page.

In addition, ALL recurring clients will receive a 15% – 25% discount as a thank you from our team.

How much does house cleaning cost?

We charge $65 per person-hour for all services (plus tax) and estimate that most Standard cleanings will take around one hour per bedroom for most residences.

Now, please remember that this is just an estimate and actual time will vary depending on the state of your home, whether you requested a Standard or Deep Clean, and if any additional services were requested. If you’re on a budget, just let us know when booking your service and we will be sure to let your house cleaner know.

We do it this way because so many other house cleaning companies are known to be terrible at estimating their pricing and we wanted to come up with an honest and transparent method of pricing our services that lets us pay our team well, while also giving you a good idea of what to expect. We aren’t a bargain-basement service, and our results speak for themselves. When quality matters, we’re the house cleaning service to turn to.

How can I get a quote?

Will I be charged the whole quote amount even if it doesn’t take that long to clean my house?

Absolutely not! We pride ourselves on being an honest and trustworthy home cleaning service. That means that we will only ever bill you for the time actually spent cleaning your home. No travel time, no ‘supplies fees’, nothing.

Is tip included?

We pride ourselves on paying our team well, so tipping is not mandatory or required in any way. You are, however, more than welcome to do so if you feel that you’ve received exceptional service. You can either include this with your online payment by sending us a quick email and asking for this to be added, or as cash on the day of service. Please reach out to us via email if you would like to add this to your e-bill after the appointment is complete.

What method of payment do you accept? How do you keep my billing information safe and secure?

We accept all major credit cards and do not take cash or personal checks. Our online payments are processed by Stripe which has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Booking through Summit Maids is completely safe and secure – guaranteed.
