The Cleveland Happy Holiday Toy Drive

Your opportunity to help make a child’s holiday wishes come true.

BENEFITTING SOME OF THE MOST

DESERVING CHILDREN IN N.E.O.

How Does It Work?

We want to make it as easy as possible to donate a toy to a child in need. On November 29th between 8:30am and 5pm you can drop off a new, unwrapped, toy directly with Beech Brook at 3737 Lander Road, Pepper Pike, OH.

Alternately, our team of friendly house cleaners can come to your location and pick up a donation at your convenience on December 5th or 6th.

If you’d like to schedule a pick up, please use the form on this page and one of our team will drop by at the arranged time and day to collect your donation.

Toy Matching

Summit Maids is proud to commit to matching the first 50 toys that are donated to the drive to help more children get the holidays that they have dreamed about.

Furthermore, we also commit to purchasing from locally owned businesses to further spread our impact throughout the community.

Every Donation Matters

There are more than 16,000 children in Ohio’s foster care system, and only 7,200 licensed foster families to take care of them. These children have lost their families for a number of reasons, and many are coming from very traumatic situations, but you have an opportunity to help a very special child feel loved and cared for. This toy drive will help give foster children something to look forward to this year. It will help them to know that there are good people out there who care about them.

Summit Maids will be donating the time of our cleaning team to go around and pick up toys so that you don’t have to take time out of your busy day. In fact, if you want to make a cash donation, you can donate directly with Beech Brook or our team can go and do the shopping for you. We want to remove all friction from making a donation.

What’s more, we have also committed to purchasing from locally owned businesses so that each and every donation goes even further to supporting the community that we live in.

Once the donations are dropped off with our foster care partner, Beech Brook, we will report back with photos and stories about how your donation helped so that you can see the impact that your donation will make.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who will the recipient of the toys be?

We have partnered with Beech Brook, one of the oldest foster care networks in Northeast Ohio, to be the recipient of the toy donations. They will work with the foster families in their network to ensure that each and every toy goes to a deserving child.

What are the donation guidelines?

Beech Brook asks that all toys be new and unwrapped. They recommend buying toys valued between $15-$30, and ideally targeted at children in the ages of 1-12 years old. Not sure what to buy? They have an Amazon wishlist to help.

Can I donate cash?

Beech Brook welcomes the donation of Walmart gift cards in denominations of $15, $20, or $25. Alternately, Summit Maids will be happy to collect cash donations and we will go shopping on your behalf. We do not keep any of these donations, 100% goes to the children.

How does the toy match work?

Summit Maids has committed to match the first 50 toys that are donated. Simply use the form above to register a pick up time (or indicate that you will be dropping a donation off yourself) and we will count your donation towards the match number.

On December 8th our team will go shopping at a local toy retailer to purchase toys that will be included in our drop off on December 9th. Afterward, we will make sure to send you a photo of your donations being delivered to Beech Brook and prepared for gifting to the children.

How far will you drive to pick up a donation?

Our team will be happy to schedule pick ups for anyone within an hour of downtown Cleveland.
